Synergy Sports Medicine is the sports medicine practice run by Dr Gavan White. We offer a high standard of sports medicine practice to the South West of Western Australia.
Our Bunbury practice is a full time practice. Our rooms are situated at 5 Higgins St, Bunbury. This practice provides all of our sports medicine treatment options and facilities including injection therapy, iontophoresis, compartment pressure testing, radial shock wave therapy and diagnostic ultrasound.
At Synergy Sports Medicine, we utilise a variety of practitioners to deliver the best care of each person. This has come from our desire to bring together like-minded people in the provision of top-level sports medicine care. The South West is a large area and we believe that an alliance is a far better arrangement than trying to bring everybody under one roof. We believe that this provides and you with the best options for your care.
We are constantly engaged in further education, quality assurance measures and providing education for others in the region.
It is our belief that correct treatment requires an accurate diagnosis. The commencement of treatment to an injury without knowing the diagnosis goes against our ideals.
To enable the best form of treatment available, we utilise the services of a wide variety of like-minded health professionals with a special interest in sports medicine.
It is vitally important that you are actively involved in the decision making about your own care.
We are very keen to avoid doing anything to people that would cause harm. Whilst some treatments will have inherent risks, there are other treatments where the risk is unacceptable and will not be offered.
